A story of order and disorder, reality and appearance, love and marriage. On a midsummer’s night, four young lovers find themselves enchanted in the dream-like forest where sprites lurk and fairies rule. Whilst a feuding Fairy King and Queen are at war, their paths are crossed by a troupe of amateur actors trying to rehearse a play. Between this flies the mischievous Puck, on-hand to ensure that the course of true love is anything but smooth, and games of fantasy, love and dreams ensue in Shakespeare’s most beguiling comedy.
Fusing sensory elements of music, dance, aerial and audience interaction, The Dot Collective brought theatre to care that was accessible for all.
